With over 25 years of experience in the sports media industry (radio, video, digital media, podcasts, print and event planning), Chad Boeger heads Union Broadcasting, which owns and operates Sports Radio 810 WHB, ESPN Kansas City, ESPN 680 (Louisville), 93.9 The Ville’ (Louisville), ESPN Wichita 92.3 FM and it’s own video production company. The radio stations feature some of the best local broadcast lineups in the entire country. In addition to local sports talk, the stations partner with a number of national networks including ESPN and Westwood One while airing the biggest sporting events in America.

Ellen McKeever Junger is a senior marketing and business executive with deep experience leading brand growth, customer experience innovation, and organizational transformation for consumer and retail companies. She currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Services Officer at Helzberg Diamonds, a Berkshire Hathaway company headquartered in Kansas City, where she leads the company’s services portfolio including custom design, jewelry repairs, extended care plans, and virtual selling. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Helzberg, where she revitalized the brand and led its digital-first marketing transformation. Earlier in her career, Ellen spent more than two decades at Hallmark Cards, including serving as Chief Marketing Officer, where she led marketing, product and brand strategy across North America and international markets. She also served as Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Payless ShoeSource. Ellen is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s Bloch School of Management and has served on numerous boards, including Swope Health Services and The Gorilla Glue Company. She holds a Master of Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
Liz Lewis
President of Consumer Banking and Chief Marketing Officer
UMB Bank
Liz Lewis serves as president of consumer banking and chief marketing officer for UMB Bank. She is responsible for retail banking, private banking, mortgage banking, and UMB’s service center. In addition, she leads marketing, sales enablement, and communication programs for the company. Liz manages the strategy, service, and revenue goals for consumer banking while strengthening the brand through effective go-to-market strategies across all of UMB’s lines of business.
In the community, she serves as a board member for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City and previously held board positions with Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City and on the Children’s Mercy Red Hot Night Committee, serving as board president in 2022. She is also a Circle of Red member for the American Heart Association. Liz has been recognized for her community and industry leadership. In the recent past, she was honored by Ingram’s as a “Women Executives of Kansas City” (WeKC) 2025 and the Kansas City Business Journal’s “Women of Influence 2014.” She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has completed professional training through the American Bankers Association.
Randy Lopez

Randy Lopez currently serves as President & CEO for the Wyandotte Health Foundation in Kansas City, KS. In 2019, Randy became the first Latino to be elected to the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools Board of Education and was reelected for a second term in 2023; Lopez currently serves as President of the Board of Education for Kansas City Kansas Public Schools. Lopez also serves on the Boards of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Development Fund, Greater Kansas City LISC, and was recently selected as part of the Leadership Kansas Class of 2026. Randy was named the 2018 NFL & Kansas City Chiefs Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award and in April of 2019 was presented the Champion of Character certificate by the Office of the Governor’s Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission. A son of Mexican immigrants, Lopez was born and raised in Kansas City, KS, graduated from Sumner Academy of Arts & Science, and earned his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University. Later, Randy was selected into the National Urban Fellows Program where he received a Master of Public Administration from the Baruch College, including time as a fellow with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Krystal McFeders

Krystal McFeders, MAT, MBA, is the Strategic Communications Interim Director/ Public Information Officer for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas. Ms. McFeders has worked for a variety of corporate and non-profit organizations and has a wide span of experience in strategic communications, education, event planning and execution, business operations, and program/ project management. Krystal holds an undergraduate degree in Communications/Public Relations from Park University, a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Master of Teaching from Kansas State University. Ms. McFeders currently serves as a board member and advisor for various community organizations and programs and is always excited about opportunities to collaborate, volunteer, and help make a positive impact throughout her community. Some of Krystal’s passions include youth empowerment and community health initiatives.

Mike Post joined the Kansas City Royals in December 2023 as Vice President, General Counsel. In this role, Mike manages and oversees all legal and risk management affairs for the team. Prior to joining the Royals, Mike was the Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Crestwood Equity Partners LP, a position he held beginning in 2013 after Crestwood’s merger with Inergy L.P. Mike began his legal career in private practice and subsequently held senior legal roles at H&R Block and Inergy. A native of Pierre, South Dakota, Post graduated from the Creighton University Heider School of Business and the Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Neb. He currently serves on the Creighton Law Alumni Advisory Board and is a graduate of the Kansas City Tomorrow program.
Chesney Sallee
VP Membership Value & Governance
National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics
Chesney Sallee serves as Vice President of Membership Value and Governance for the NAIA, leading an organization-wide effort to maximize the value member universities receive from their NAIA membership. Through a combination of structural and systemic improvements, creation of several new programs, and identifying untapped opportunities in nontraditional spaces, Sallee has led the NAIA to enhance and innovate during a watershed moment in the industry. These efforts have contributed to soaring member satisfaction scores (value CSAT increase of 10-17% by respondent group) and loyalty scores (NPS increases of 17-31 by respondent group). In addition to her work in Membership Value and serving on the Leadership Team, Sallee oversees Governance, Legislative Services, Student-Athlete Experience & Development, and the NAIA’s legal and lobbying efforts. A trusted strategic leader, Sallee has guided more than ten major NAIA task forces addressing issues such as industry evolution, transgender participation, postseason formats, financial aid, NIL, and COVID-19 response. She is active in Women Leaders in College Sports—earning the National Executive of the Year award in 2017—and serves on the boards of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, UniUSA, and previously the Midwest Innocence Project. Sallee holds a J.D. from the University of Kansas and baccalaureate degrees in Print Journalism and Criminology from Kansas State University.

With more than two decades of experience, Basil partners with health systems nationwide to shape strategic campus plans that expand access to care, strengthen operations, and support healthier communities. His leadership has guided transformative initiatives for major health systems, addressing critical community needs while positioning organizations for long-term growth and resilience. A recognized thought leader in healthcare design, Basil regularly shares insights at national design conferences and in Healthcare Design Magazine. As a The University of Kansas Distinguished Alumni, Basil remains actively engaged in supporting the next generation of designers working to advance healthcare and strengthen the built environment.

Kaye Summers

D. Kaye Summers is a retired business executive, attorney and designer with extensive experience in management, strategic planning, governance, policy development and negotiations, as well as broad-ranging design experience in both creative and business areas. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of leadership, decision-making and community engagement, helping business and charitable organizations navigate complex issues with integrity and vision. Kaye has served on governing and advisory boards of local nonprofit organizations and spearheaded efforts on special projects supporting mission goals and service delivery. She is inspired by the groundbreaking work in cancer research and treatment innovation of the University of Kansas Health System. Kaye’s connection is also personal: having witnessed firsthand the excellence of care through her husband’s successful cancer outcome at KU Med, she is a dedicated advocate and financial supporter. In particular, her husband’s experience underscored for her the critical importance of accessible, high-quality healthcare here in Kansas City.

Jason has been devoted to the Kansas City area since his family moved here in grade school. He grew up in Overland Park and went on to earn his degree from the University of Kansas School of Business.
In 2005, Jason began his career in real estate as a broker and purchased his first historic property after two years. With little knowledge of the National Historic Register and tax crediting programs at the time, this project opened Jason’s eyes to a developer’s role in preserving history. Since then, Jason has led Sunflower Development Group to award-winning success in revitalizing urban communities. Jason’s passion for preservation and tireless commitment to big ideas is ingrained in everything we do at Sunflower.
Polly Thomas

Polly Thomas is the Chief Operating Officer, Benefits & Insurance at CBIZ. During her tenure at CBIZ, she has served as Chief of Strategy and led the Kansas City Employee Benefits practice and Talent and Compensation Consulting Practices. As COO, she oversees strategic growth and operational initiatives, including identifying and integrating mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining CBIZ, Polly held several executive leadership roles at Cerner (now part of Oracle), where she led outsourcing efforts and launched the company’s onsite employee health clinic. She previously chaired the Vibrant Health board of directors, chaired the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Women’s Leadership Council, and served on the YPO Kansas City board. In 2019, she was named a Woman of Influence by the Kansas City Business Journal. Polly is passionate about improving healthcare and holds a degree in physical therapy.

Chris is the President of Wally & Co., LC, a commercial real estate brokerage that exclusively represents building occupiers. He focuses on helping clients leverage their physical space to enhance company performance, reduce occupancy costs through strategic lease structures, and shift the leasing process away from traditional ‘landlord-centric’ norms. Over his 35-year career, Chris has represented local and national tenants in some of the largest leases in Kansas City. He has been recognized by the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors as the Commercial Realtor of the Year and a Home Run Award winner. Chris holds the coveted SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors®. Throughout his career, he has been honored to serve in numerous leadership roles, including Co-Chair of KCADC’s Real Estate Advisory Council, Overland Park Economic Development Council, and the KC Rising Steering Committee. He recently concluded ten years of service on the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Committee and is a graduate of Leadership Overland Park.
Shea Walsworth

Shea Walsworth excelled as an award-winning public-relations consultant at Fleishman-Hillard before launching her freelance business, The Creative Link, where she specialized in media relations and special events. She then shifted focus to raising her two children and serving the Kansas City community. Her volunteerism ranges from serving as President of the Barstow Parents’ Association to co-leading a small group of young adults at Church of the Resurrection and her current role helping clients at the Village Presbyterian Food Pantry/Clothing Closet. She recently served on the University of Missouri Jefferson Club Board of Trustees from 2018-2024 and chaired the Recognition Committee for identifying the most outstanding alumni for the university’s top award. She co-founded Mahjongg with a Mission in 2024, which has raised nearly $120,000 for glioblastoma research at the University of Kansas Cancer Center and become the premier mahjongg philanthropy event in the area. Her goal is to tilt the world toward good.
Sabrina Wiewel

Sabrina will oversee a broad portfolio of Hallmark’s corporate support functions including corporate brand reputation, global licensing, government affairs, as well as areas that support employee experience such as diversity and inclusion, employee relations and talent development. Wiewel will focus on helping Hallmark employees collaborate, communicate, encourage, and partner with one another across businesses. Additionally, she will manage relationships with the local community through her leadership of the Hallmark Visitor’s Center and Kaleidoscope, as well as globally by overseeing licensing efforts with the Hallmark brand. Hallmark holds licensing agreements with nine of the top 10 most popular licensed properties including Disney, Warner Bros., and Mattel. Wiewel has been recognized as one of Progressive Grocer’s top senior-level executive women in grocery and one of Shopper Marketing Magazine’s “Who’s Who in Chain Drug.” In 2016 she was named a Kansas City Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business” honoree and was included in Bizwomen’s “Top 100 Women to Watch,” recognizing the top 100 female business leaders in the country. Wiewel serves on the board of directors for Starlight Theatre, Enactus United States and Band of Angels. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing from Central Missouri State University.
