Scott Coup
President
Security Bank of Kansas City
Scott Coup is a financial professional with over 30 years of experience in commercial banking, specializing in regional and community banks. His expertise spans credit analysis, business development, portfolio management, acquisition due diligence, recruiting, sales coaching, talent development, and bank strategy.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending quality time with his family, staying active, and giving back to the community by volunteering through his church and local organizations.

Dan Cranshaw, JD,
Executive Director
KC Health Collaborative
As Executive Director of KC Health Collaborative, Dan brings together diverse stakeholders to drive healthcare innovation, improve population health and promote health equity in the Kansas City region. By fostering collective impact, the Collaborative aims to transform healthcare delivery and create a healthier future for every BODY. Whether partnering with businesses, local governments, or key stakeholders in the nonprofit sector, Dan’s leadership unites individuals and creates coalitions to bring ideas to life. The son of nurse, Dan grew up witnessing firsthand the significance of compassion and equitable patient care. Today, he continues that tradition by advocating for equal access to healthcare for Black and brown families, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to receive the whole person care they need and deserve. Prior to his current role, Dan spent a decade as an educator, followed by two decades in the legal profession, where he distinguished himself as a litigator, leader, and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. His dedication and commitment to the progress and implementation of diversity and inclusion earned him several awards, including Missouri Lawyers Media’s Diversity and Inclusion Award and the Greater Kansas City Chamber’s Bernard Powell Award for demonstrating outstanding leadership, a deep commitment to service, and a passion for improving the Greater Kansas City area. Additionally, Dan serves as a member of the Supreme Court of Missouri’s Commission on Racial and Ethnic Fairness (CREF). The Commission’s goal is to examine and review current practices, and to recommend measures to ensure fairness, impartiality, equal access, and full participation for racial and ethnic minorities in the judicial process and in the practice of law. Throughout his career, Dan has provided board leadership for a number of nonprofit organizations including SchoolSmartKC, the Urban Neighborhood Initiative, the American Jazz Museum, United WE, Cornerstones of Care, the Kansas & Western Missouri Salvation Army, Kansas City CARE Clinic, Don Bosco Community Centers, Schumaker Family Foundation, Swope Health Services, Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and Deerfield Academy Alumni Association. Dan received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Princeton University and earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas.

Regina Croucher
Head of International Activities
KPMG LLP
Regina is a partner and is the Head of International Activities at KPMG LLP with over 30 years of public accounting experience. Regina is the U.S. representative for KPMG’s IFRS Global Panel and is a filing review partner in KPMG’s U.S. Capital Markets Group. She also sits on the Center for Audit Quality’s International Practices Task Force, and has authored several accounting publications. Regina has served on a variety of Kansas City community boards, and recently joined the Visit KC Board. Regina also recently served on the KC Sports Commission Board for 10 years (Board chair 2020-2022). Regina was honored with the LeMoyne College Distinguished Alumna award (2023), and is a KC Women Who Mean Business Award recipient (2015). Regina is originally from New York, attended LeMoyne College (1993) and lived in London for four years prior to moving to Kansas City in 2010.

Jacob Derritt

Jacob M. Derritt is Executive Director for JPMorgan’s Commercial Bank, leader in the financial industry. Since joining JPMorgan Chase in 2019, Jacob has played a pivotal role in the bank’s expansion efforts in the central region, serving as Executive Director for the Business Bank. In his current position, he focuses on delivering comprehensive financial solutions to middle-market businesses, helping them navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve their growth objectives. Beyond his professional achievements, Jacob is deeply committed to community service, serving on the KC Common Good Board. He is also the Head Boys Basketball Coach for Bishop Miege High School and leads the Michael Porter Jr. Elite Club basketball program, where he mentors young athletes. A Centurion Alum from the Class of ’22, Jacob continues to make a positive impact both in his professional career and within the community.

Donell Hammond

Donell Hammond is a visionary technology executive with over a decade of expertise in leading digital transformation, IT strategy, and innovation across both nonprofit and corporate sectors. As the chief information technology officer at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Hammond plays a key role in advancing and aligning technology priorities in support of the Foundation’s mission to reduce barriers in college access, workforce development, and entrepreneurship. His leadership ensures that technology not only supports but accelerates the Foundation’s local and national impact by enhancing and supporting infrastructure, systems performance, and service delivery. Hammond oversees critical areas such as technology operations, data management, enterprise applications, digital operations, and information security. His work ensures the seamless integration of technology in ways that empower the Foundation’s efforts to increase access and opportunities for communities locally and nationwide. Before joining the Foundation, Hammond served as a Senior Interface Architect and Manager at Cerner Corporation, where he led international teams in developing system integration standards within the healthcare industry. His leadership style, which balances high-level strategic planning with a hands-on, results-oriented approach, has consistently delivered strong outcomes, including enhanced stakeholder satisfaction and the successful execution of critical goals. Hammond holds an MBA in Information Technology from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Friends University. He is also a 2022 graduate of the Centurion Program and serves on community boards focused on digital equity and community impact. Renowned for his ability to cultivate strategic partnerships and foster innovation, Hammond is deeply committed to mentoring and empowering IT teams. His focus on aligning technology with organizational priorities, combined with a collaborative and transparent leadership approach, has helped organizations navigate complex digital transformations while driving operational efficiency, resilience, and growth. Through his work, Hammond continues to ensure that technology serves as a strategic enabler for the Kauffman Foundation’s mission and vision.

Jim Hubbard
Retired Attorney
Retired attorney; KU undergraduate and law school: 50 years as a board member and chairman of Olathe Health: Member Mission Hills Country Club: Enjoy golf, flying, hiking and fishing. Jim and his wife Susan have two adult kids in Colorado.

Nick Jacobson

Nick Jacobson is the Chief Marketing Officer at Creative Planning, an independent financial advisory firm headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. With over 20 years of experience in marketing, primarily in the financial services industry, Nick has worked at Edelman Financial Engines and H&R Block. Nick is a University of Kansas graduate and his two adult children graduated from KU. He joined the KU Advancement Board to help make a difference in the advancement of education and cancer research and currently also serves on the Pathway Financial Education board. Nick lives in Leawood, Kansas, with his wife and two goldendoodles.

Tom Jantsch

After graduating from Florida A&M University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Dawn worked at Procter & Gamble for 11 years with assignments in Operations and Human Resources. After leaving P&G, she became an entrepreneur with the start-up of two family businesses – Village West Liquors and EverFit Gym. In 2021, she was elected to the Board of Trustees at Johnson County Community College. She is proud to be a public servant at this top educational institution. Dawn is also on the board of the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce, the board of Young Women on the Move, and was the Vice Chair of the Johnson County Charter Commission. She is also a member of Jack & Jill of America, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, and the Links, Inc. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, having parties, and learning to play tennis. Dawn is married to Manu Rattan, an attorney and business owner and they have three children, aged 26, 21 and 16.

Greg Kindle

Wyandotte Economic Development Council
Greg Kindle has served as the President of the Wyandotte County Economic Development Council since December 2011. Greg has more than 25 years of experience in community and economic development in the Kansas City market. In his role as the President of the Wyandotte Economic Development Council, he and his team focus on business recruitment, retention, marketing, and workforce solutions. He and his team identify ways to attract the right businesses for specific locations, retain the companies already located in the county, grow businesses through a variety of traditional and new approaches to economic development, and identify strategies for long-term community growth all with a focus on building relationships. Since joining WYEDC, more than $6.2 billion in investments have been announced along in the last 10 years with the creation or retention of more than 15,000 jobs with an overall goal of increasing Wyandotte County’s median household income. He has held leadership roles at KCP&L (now Evergy), Southwest Johnson County EDC and experience in state government, United Way, and Sprint. Greg and his wife, Karen, have three children. They live in Kansas City, Kansas.

David Morris
Vice President
Mark & Bette Morris Family Foundation
David is an adjunct professor at the University of Kansas School of Business mentoring students in entrepreneurship. He also serves as Vice President of McMorin, Inc. and the Mark & Bette Morris Family Foundation. From 1998 to 2021 he owned and operated Premium Nutritional Products, Inc. owner of the ZuPreem line of specialty pet foods. At the time of the company’s sale to private equity in 2021, ZuPreem was the leading brand of foods for companion birds in the US pet specialty channel, and was distributed in over 25 countries around the world. Prior to establishing Premium Nutritional Products, David earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, served on the staff of Kansas Governor Mike Hayden, and earned his law and MBA degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. David has served in a variety of roles supporting charitable organizations including serving for 26 years as a trustee and officer of the Morris Animal Foundation the largest charitable funder of animal health studies in the world.

Justin Ricklefs

Chris serves as Senior Vice President and Regional Leader for the Kansas City office of McCownGordon Construction. He is responsible for the central region encompassing an area ranging from South Dakota to Oklahoma with a heavy focus in and around Kansas City. Chris also serves as a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Chris has been with McCownGordon for over 20 years working in various roles in and around Kansas City, during this time he has been heavily engaged in both civic and community organizations including chairing the Wyandotte Economic Development Council, Urban Land Institute Board, University Health Foundation Board, and others. Chris and his wife Tracey are avid Kansas Citians and currently live in Hyde Park with their two children Lily and Dylan; they enjoy golfing, just about anything outdoors and travelling together.
