KU Endowment President Daniel J. Martin

The University of Kansas is a place of dreams, and each of us who came to KU to realize those dreams could not have done so without the help of talented and dedicated faculty members. At this time of year, it’s appropriate to thank KU’s faculty, who teach, mentor students, and conduct research to change the world. Throughout the year, KU recognizes outstanding teachers, researchers and leaders, mainly through funds donated by KU friends and alumni. This month KU will celebrate several of KU’s outstanding faculty researchers at the University Research Awards.

Whether it’s setting up a professorship or faculty award fund, creating a scholarship to help a first-generation student, providing seed money for a promising clinical research trial or giving a lead gift to lay the cornerstone of a brand-new building, our donors are in the unique position to encourage the pursuit and fulfillment of dreams.

Ever Onward,

Dan Martin
