October 13, 2011

Calling all shutterbugs: Enter KU Endowment’s photo contest, compete for prizes of $250 and see your photos published online and/or in print.

From now through November 30, KU Endowment welcomes photos representing all University of Kansas campuses and programs. Winning photos will be selected by December 15.

Categories include:

  • Campus beauty,
  • Student life at KU,
  • Learning at KU,
  • Research at KU, and
  • KU service and outreach.

Learn more about the photo competition and submit photos online at kuendowment.org/photos.

Photographs may be used in publications and online to help KU Endowment raise funds for KU. The contest corresponds with Far Above: The Campaign for Kansas, the comprehensive campaign scheduled for an April 2012 public kick-off.

Photos should be taken at the highest resolution possible in jpg, tiff or raw formats. Contest entrants must be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States. Employees of KU Endowment and their immediate families, as well as individuals who are not legal residents of the U.S., may submit photos but are ineligible to win prizes.

KU Endowment is the independent, nonprofit organization serving as the official fundraising and fund-management organization for KU. Founded in 1891, KU Endowment was the first foundation of its kind at a U.S. public university.
