Hotel Accommodations
Blocks of hotel rooms have been established at several hotels in the Lawrence area as indicated by the pink markers. Conference locations are indicated by blue markers to help guide your hotel selection based on the activities you will be participating in. Parking will be available near each of the sessions. Shuttle transportation will also be provided from your hotel to all the conference destinations.

Traveling to Lawrence
Nearest Major Airport:
Kansas City International Airport (MCI)
Most major airlines, including American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest and United fly into Kansas City.
Off-airport rental car services for most major brands, including Enterprise, Avis and Budget, are readily available. A bus will take you from the terminal to the rental car facility.
Distance between MCI and Lawrence, KS:
- Approximately 50 miles, via I-70 West (This route has tolls).
- Approximately 62 miles, via KS-10 (This route does not have tolls).
Car services and Uber also offer transportation between MCI and Lawrence.
MCI’s new terminal will welcome you to Kansas City.
Regional Airport:
The City of Lawrence has owned and operated the Lawrence Regional Airport (LWC) since its dedication at this location in October 1929. LWC is one of the oldest, continuously operating airports at its original location in Kansas.
LWC is an FAA-designated regional airport located approximately three miles north of Downtown Lawrence on East US Highway 24/40. With a Class I Instrument Landing System, LWC is an outstanding all-weather airport for recreational and business aircraft operators.
