A message from President Dan Martin

KU Endowment President Dan Martin

As the 2023-2024 academic year begins, we want to celebrate donor support for our students. This year, more than $53M in scholarship funding is available for KU students thanks to more than 3,000 scholarships created by KU alumni and friends.

Helping students achieve their dreams of a college education goes back almost to KU Endowment’s founding. Providing funding for scholarships is just one way to transform the lives of our students. Through your generosity, KU students have the opportunity to engage in experiential learning of all kinds—from hands-on work in a research lab to study abroad and internships. Others benefit from emergency funds that for many, make the difference between staying in school or dropping out.

Thank you for what you do for our students. We are excited to welcome them all back to campus and we give a “shout out” to the many generous donors who have invested in their success.

Building a greater KU, together,

Daniel J. Martin

KU Endowment is the independent, nonprofit organization serving as the official fundraising and fund-management organization for KU. Founded in 1891, KU Endowment was the first foundation of its kind at a U.S. public university.
