Campus Tableau Site

The KU Endowment Campus Tableau website provides authorized KU campus partners a self-service hub of fundraising and stewardship reports for their school or unit — such as Donor Receipt Reports (formerly “Academic Donor Reports”), Pledge Reports, and soon, Mailing Lists. This self-service hub replaces previous print and email reports. It is secure, easy to use and brief training is provided.

NOTE: This is different from One Solution, which provides KU units access to their KU Endowment financial account(s) information and related reports.

Data Confidentiality

We are committed to respecting and upholding the privacy of KU donors. Users are expected to sign and adhere to the KU Endowment Campus Tableau Site Information and Confidentiality Agreement, agree the data will be used only as described in the agreement and that data remains the property of KU Endowment. User access may be removed at any time if the policy and protocols are not followed.

Access

To request access to the website, please contact KU Endowment’s Data Requests team at [email protected].

We will provide required confidentiality agreements, access and training.

Donor Reports

Only reports for your school or unit are available to you. Campus Donor Reports are accessed through the KU Endowment Campus Tableau Site for authorized users or can be requested from [email protected].

Mailing Lists

Donor and Alumni mailing list access will be added to the KU Endowment Campus Tableau Site soon. Until that time, all mailing list requests should be sent to
[email protected]. For One Day One KU (ODOKU) mailing lists, please specify “ODOKU” in your email request.

Please allow 7-10 business days (not including holidays) for your data.

Unsubscribe/Do Not Call Information

  • During our CRM transition, KU Endowment cannot maintain, nor track unsubscribe or “no contact” information (also known as service indicators or hold codes) for each individual unit on campus. Currently, if a “no contact” status is applied to an individual, it removes them from all campus lists rather than just the one unit their request was intended for. Please track any “unsubscribe” requests you may receive for your unit/school — both for print/mailing content and for email/digital content.
  • At this time, any contact list we provide, whether from the self-service site or from our data requests team, will not include service indicators for hold requests.
  • We ask that each unit track and maintain a list of any unsubscribe or “no contact” requests they receive. Before sending a new communication, be sure to cross reference your “no contact” list with the mailing list, removing anyone who has submitted an unsubscribe request. Units and schools that communicate through their own platforms (e.g., Emma, Encompass, or other email service providers) are responsible for managing and honoring unsubscribes within those systems, which often maintain unsubscribe functionality for that purpose.

FAQ

Approved KU staff and faculty requiring the information for fundraising, stewardship and mailing list purposes can be given access, including KU employees and KU affiliate organization employees. Only those with an active KU login, i.e. KU Single Sign-On, will be able to access the site and view information for their area.

If an approved user has not accessed the site in a 3-month period, we may reach out to see if access is still needed. If not, a license may be removed.

To request access to Endowment’s Tableau site, please contact KU Endowment’s Data Requests team at [email protected]. There are three steps to setting up access for campus users. It normally takes 1-2 business days to complete. After you’ve requested access:

  1. You will receive, complete and return an authorized confidentiality form.
  2. We will ensure your KU Single Sign-On (SSO) works with KU Endowment’s SSO management system. You may need to accept an invitation from Microsoft so that our systems “talk” to each other.
  3. We issue your site Tableau license, provide instructions on how to log in and offer training.

KU Endowment’s Tableau site uses single sign-on (SSO) to secure user access. Our KU Endowment system will ‘talk’ with KU’s system, so only your KU username (your email) and KU password are required to log in, once approved. This means when you change your KU password, it will automatically change for KU Endowment’s Tableau site.
