Friends and volunteers are the pillars of KU Endowment’s fundraising efforts. Your hard work is one of the reasons KU has achieved its place as a leading university. As the only Kansas member of the prestigious Association of American Universities, KU is among a select group of public and private institutions that are known for excellence in education and research.
In these days of tightening governmental support for higher education, though, only about 23 percent of KU’s budget comes from the state of Kansas. KU needs your help now more than ever before.

Women Philanthropists for KU
The mission of WP4KU is to encourage women to support the University of Kansas through their philanthropy and leadership, and to explore ways to address the interests of women donors through KU Endowment.
The University of Kansas Hospital
Volunteers help organize the annual Treads & Threads event that supports the hospital’s cancer center.
KU Alumni Association
The KU network is 284,000 strong. Successful alumni include authors, a Nobel-prize winner, cancer-curing scientists, NASA astronauts, actors and more. The list goes on and on. Association membership helps you find friendly faces in your field, participate in numerous Jayhawk events and do so much more.
