When you hear a student’s voice on the phone asking you to give to KU, we hope you will take the opportunity to pledge your support.
The caller is a KU student, working hard to contact alumni, parents and friends to help renew ties to the university and update information. Our
“Jaytalkers” also can help you make a gift to KU. These students major in a wide variety of fields. It’s a challenging job, but a rewarding one, particularly when a friendly voice says how much KU meant to the person they’ve called. We appreciate your kindness when they call, even if you are unable to make a contribution at the time.
In fiscal year 2007, which ended June 30, our student callers logged 5,184 hours on the phone, raising nearly $1.7 million in pledges for KU.
